While trying to get the lug nuts loose on my girlfriend's car when she had a flat I almost had a heart attack, we ended up calling for a tow to a shop. I have used the InstaWrench a few times since then, it hasn't let me down yet. I purchased this item after a search of local retailers revealed that they had nothing similar available.

I received this item today. I tried it on a lug nut and switched it either way and it loosened. There is no clockwise tighten. It's unbelievable to me because it would take 2 seconds at the factory to see it turned only one way at both settings.. And at chinese wages it would not have killed the fat cats that own this to at least have that checked out before sending to me across the planet to have a bad day..
